This Nimba shows little evidence of age or use and was probably made to be sold.
Beautifully carved and heavily studded with tacks, it also has a few small pieces of embossed metal. The elongated head is a nice exageration of the traditional Nimba form. It is well carved and in good condition. The nose has a crack on the left side and may have been broken off and reattached (see detail below).
