BAMILEKE STYLE , Horns/Trumpets, Cameroon

Prestige drinking horns were a man's most important personal article. Trumpets, made from horn or carved from wood, were used ceremonially for their sound. Trumpets like the largest, 1 and 2, were also displayed as an arch through which the king appeared.
