TARUMBA CURRENCY 2, DRC

TARUMBA
CURRENCY "SPEAR" 2
65.5" high
$250

Forms like this iron shaped "weapon" or blade were recognized and used by the Tarumba and Likele people as a bride price.

This one is much too thin to have ever been intended as a functional weapon and is not sharp.

This #2 has a native splint to support a weak area in the blade.

It has been vetted as authentic.
