Aprons 25 - 27

From Left to Right:

Apron 25 11" high x 6" wide 9 bead strands SOLD
Apron 26 13" high x 6" wide 11 bead strands SOLD
Apron 27 12.5" high x 5" wide 16 bead strands SOLD

These aprons have been vetted as authentic but with little use.

Aprons 25 and 26 have leather bands for wear.

The Fulani, many of whom are nomadic, live in an area from Mali in the west to Cameroon in the east. Modesty aprons, cache-sex jewelry, denote age, status and social condition. They were worn to attract attention and protect against evil.
