Costume 7
84" high x 72" wide x 11" deep
Mask alone: 16" high x 5" wide x 3" deep
$600
SOLD

This costume has not been vetted.   It has a very heavy and complex surface of interwoven and appliqued rope-like cloth over a burlap-like base. Since the costume is not flat, the costume has to be supported on something.  Note: the access opening in the front for the dancer is beneath the band of hanging cloth strips. I have not attempted to have the costume cleaned. The mask, which has an overall coating of thin brown paint, is probably not authentic, and was added to the costume for its sale. On a mannikin or dancer the long access neck would collapse once the headdress was in place.

The costume is not in good shape and would benefit going to someone with the skill and desire to stabilize it.
