This mask has been vetted as authentic, dating from the mid to late 20th Century.
This mask was vetted by Daniel Mato, author (with Charles Miller III) of Sande, masks and statues from Liberia and Sierra-Leone.
The raffia collar is in good condition but brittle. Some metal additions are missing, which accounts for the surface color differences around the sides and back. The lower part of the interior has been darkened.
