This stool shows signs of age and use. There is one chip out of the top and one side is eroded but stable. It is unusual for a Senufo stool because of the upturning angularity on the ends of the top.
These wonderfully simple sculptural forms are carved from a single block of wood by the Senufo people of Ivory Coast.
