The crossbar has two matching holes, a metal covering and its key (displayed here upside down, in use it would be turned over, inserted, and the two prongs would lift the hidden pins). The crossbar has been broken with a section missing where the key is inserted. There are also the two large iron bolts (missing from the other doorlocks) that would fasten the doorlock to the door.
This doorlock has been mounted on a metal base which is included in the price. It has its original crossbolt and is operational. The crossbolt is lightly wedged in place (in a sort of centered position), but can be slid to the left to the locked position.
