The crossbar has three holes but no pins. We are not sure of the function of a lock mounted on a post.
This doorlock on a post has been mounted on a metal base which is included in the
price. It has its original crossbolt and is operational. The crossbolt is
lightly wedged in place (in a sort of centered position), but can be slid
to the left to the locked position.
