Despite its appearance this Bamana figure shows no evidence of age or use and was probably made to be sold.

Note the cracks (stable) on the face and the erosion on the base. The figure is enhanced by nice patterning (scarification?) on the front and back The bottom is levelled slightly with two adjustable screws.
