Despite its appearance, this Bamileke bowl lid shows no evidence of age or use and was probably made to be sold.

This bowl lid has 4 different unique heads and a very nice patina. It is in good condition except for two areas with chips missing on the very bottom, on the right and left sides of the last picture above. We never saw the bowl for this lid but it was probably comparatively plain.
