Despite its appearance, this Baule figure shows no evidence of age or use and was probably made to be sold.
This semi-colonial figure exhibits the Baule love for fine detail and elegant carving on the figure. The lower half of the body is defined. The cracks on the right side of the head and the left side of the body and base are old and stable.
