This Bobo crocodile puppet has been vetted as authentic with evidence of use and age.
We are not sure of how the dancer/puppeteer carried the head and tail sections. We have hung it with the two pieces touching and a draped piece of cloth. The jaw is independent of the head and opens and closes.
