Iron forms like these, with an abstract, non-functional shape and distinctively hammered surface textures (on the front side), were recognized and used as currency. Although similar in length, their weights varies from 1 lb. 12 oz. - 5 lbs. 2 oz.
Stands are not included. The bars were photographed balanced on a tapered wood block.
