This large and exceptional headdress includes traditional, colonial and folk imagery. There is a large but stable crack on the back ( see detail ) and the large animal's left ear is half missing (see front detail of rider). Otherwise the headdress is in good condition.  There is an interior cap-like form made of fiber to cushion the headress for wearing. 

Despite its appearance we do not know if the mask was ever danced.  The large custom stand is included.
