This mask has been vetted as authentic, dating from the first half of the 20th Century.
This mask was vetted by Daniel Mato, author (with Charles Miller III) of Sande, masks and statues from Liberia and Sierra-Leone.
This double-horned old mask has minor wood loss and a patina of built up paint. There are stable cracks on the top ridge and hair on the right side (see above photograph). The interior has been darkened.
