This mask has been vetted as authentic, dating from the mid to late 20th Century.
This mask was vetted by Daniel Mato, author (with Charles Miller III) of Sande, Masks and Statues from Liberia and Sierra-Leone.
Part of the front projection on top has been broken off (see detail below). There is one long crack down the right side of the neck near the chin (detail below). The interior has been darkened.
