This mask has been vetted as authentic, dating from the late 20th Century.
This mask was vetted by Daniel Mato, author (with Charles Miller III) of Sande, masks and statues from Liberia and Sierra-Leone.
There are cracks on top of the head and hair, plus two vertical cracks on each side of the face and neck. They are now stable. The interior has been painted a dark brown. One of the horn tips is broken.
