This mask has been vetted as authentic, dating from the early 20th Century.
This mask was vetted by Daniel Mato, author (with Charles Miller III) of Sande, masks and statues from Liberia and Sierra-Leone.
This mask has some wood loss on the tip of the nose and a stable crack on the top of the hair. The raffia collar is sparse. The interior has not been darkened.
