This mask has been vetted as authentic, dating from the first half of the 20th Century.
This mask was vetted by Daniel Mato, author (with Charles Miller III) of Sande, masks and statues from Liberia and Sierra-Leone.
This mask has some major cracks and wood loss down both the back and the face yet remains stable. The raffia collar has some sparse areas. The interior has been darkened but some has worn or broken off.
