This Momie figure has not been vetted; our default position is that it was probably made to be sold.
Momie figures relate to the neighboring Nyamwezi and Zigwa pieces. This unique figure has a metal covering on the face, nailed on and surrounded by beads. A shallow opening on the top of the head and the navel are also ringed by beads. The feet have wood loss on the front and back and there is noticable damage on the back and side of the head, the right arm, the seat and legs.
