This wonderful piece, when tested, was found to be authentic.
The certificate is included. Sample # 868A6.1. Test results indicate the material was last
fired 2380 +/- 480 years ago.
A second sample was taken on the back, at the break. It had different characteristics but was also fired in antiquity.
