This panel has been vetted as authentic but with few signs of use and age.

This panel and strap are embellished with cowrie shells. The metal embossed strips form a common X-shape design. The overall cloth is weathered (and stained on the back) but intact The fiber board inside the cloth is rigid.

The panels are worn, usually in pairs, in public ceremonies by Ifa priestesses. The measurement is the height of the panel and strap followed by the width of the panel.
