This panel has been vetted as authentic. The last views show the double panel opened, with the front tucked behind the straps. Much more like an Ifa bag than a panel, it lacks a bag. The back, with a cut leather design, is like the front of some bags.
The beadwork is in excellent condition, with no bead loss. It is bold in design, yet subtle in color. The leather, even the fringe strips, have become very stiff. The tied-on strap is newer, replacing one probably worn and broken.
The panels are worn, usually in pairs, in public ceremonies by Ifa priestesses.
