This headrest was probably made to be sold.
This headrest is embellished with metal inserts that are filed flush with the surface. It and number 5 are lighter in color than the others.
In many African cultures, carved wooden "pillows" are used to support the head during sleep and in some instances to preserve a hairstyle.
