This post has been vetted as authentic.
This forked post has been "wired" with transparent fishline to hang on a wall. Although the wood is extremely hard, this tigettewin post has an eroded end. Because of that it would be difficult but not impossible to be mounted. There are two stable cracks at the top.
Forked tigettewin posts were used in various ways in each Tuareg family's tent, holding leather bags or supporting one end of a wooden rod which in turn held saddle and camel bags.
